Following fantastic REF results the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering (CSEE) is recruiting 22 new academic staff.
There are a multitude of research fields, both established and emerging that the school wishes to strengthen. With a strong community of collaboration and support, there are fantastic opportunities to be found in CSEE.
The school would like to invite academics from Lecturer to Professorial level, preferably, but not limited to the following research areas:
Exceptional candidates in other research areas will be considered.
You will add capability to the School’s existing research in any of the above fields as well as open up and develop new research activities that will become recognised as outstanding and internationally leading. These posts will also include teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level and may include delivering existing modules and developing new ones.
The successful candidates will hold a relevant doctoral level research degree, or, for those applying at lecturer and senior lecturer level, be close to completion, or have equivalent professional experience or practice. You will have Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, or the ability to gain professional recognition at this or a higher level if appropriate and a thorough understanding of how different approaches to teaching and learning support student learning.
